This present reality is happening right now, no matter how we try to distract ourselves away from it.

We spend a lot of time mindlessly checking our phone, up to 215 times a day!

So, we pull ourselves out of the wonderful present moment 215 times, to see who has posted about or liked our picture on Facebook, how many ‘likes’ our latest Instagram picture has, or just in case we have ‘missed’ something really ‘important’…

It’s easy to forget we could just ‘Do Nothing’, and enjoy the present moment, saving our curiosity for another time, and perhaps coming to the realization we are not actually missing out on anything critically important.

In fact, we may come to realize that we miss out on more by being so distracted from the joy and beauty of the present moment.

Do we want to remember what we saw around us on our commute home, or what we watched on our phone? These moments only happen once, and will pass us by if we don’t take the time to experience them.

The alternative of leaving your phone at home is just not realistic in our modern world. After all, this is a wonderful device, allowing us to communicate with loved ones, be contacted at all times in the event of an emergency, plan transportation, book movie tickets etc…

The Do Nothing phone cover is designed to have us question if we really ‘need’ to pick up the phone at that time when we could just enjoy the pleasant reality of this very moment.

Imagine how much more connected to the present you would be if you even halved the phone checking to 107 times!!!
